Who we are

Floramania is where flower farming and floristry come together.

With a background in growing cut flowers, I understand what’s truly in season and the care it takes to produce exceptional blooms. As the grower behind Floramania, I grow as much as I can myself, and I also partner with other farmers in our area and neighboring states to provide as many locally grown flowers as possible with every order.

When you choose Floramania, you’re choosing flowers that reflect the season we’re actually living in. Local farmers provide unmatched freshness and often grow unique varieties you won’t typically find through large wholesale markets. The result? Arrangements that feel special, intentional, and a little more extraordinary than what you’d find in most grocery stores or traditional flower shops.

We also work with two trusted local wholesalers who help bridge the gap between supporting local agriculture and meeting our customers’ needs year-round. Their blooms — and the incredible people behind them — play an important role in what we do.

At Floramania, you’ll always receive a thoughtful blend of locally grown flowers and carefully sourced blooms from outside North Carolina or the U.S. — always designed at their peak and handled with care.

How It Started

First and foremost, I’m a mother of three, a military spouse, a military brat, and a proud native of Harnett County. I’m the girl who never left home — and decided to make her hometown brighter, one flower at a time.

Floramania began in 2019 while my husband was deployed. During that season, I found myself drawn to flowers and seed starting. When he returned home safely in 2020, my stepfather, Michael Salmon — a soybean farmer — offered me a quarter-acre plot across from our family home to begin flower farming.

At the same time, my father-in-law, Jas Ingram, a graphic artist, was releasing artwork of a magnificent flower horse through his art page, Captainlovehandles. He graciously allowed me to use “Flora” as the face of my business.

With land, a name, and a growing education, Floramania took root.

Over the years, I grew a variety of flowers for local customers and florists, eventually focusing on tulips and peonies. I began exploring floristry more seriously and worked in a flower shop, continuing to refine my craft — especially mastering the challenge of growing tulips in the South.

In 2025, during another deployment while raising my three children solo, I completed my first paid wedding — which was later published that October. That experience gave me the confidence to fully step into this dream, not just as a flower farmer, but as a florist.

From Me to You

If you’ve read this far — thank you.

When you choose Floramania, you’re supporting a military spouse, a mother of three, a local flower farmer who collaborates with other growers to provide seasonal, ethically grown blooms. You’re supporting someone who partners with local businesses, who has worked hard for years, and who finally chose to believe in herself.

Someone who might be a lot like you.
